Welcome to Drafts Paper. I’m Ogbu Eme, and I’m a children’s author.
I write the content on this blog, and it’s my mission to show you how to turn your manuscript into a book. I have self published Not Too Young to Run, a middle grade book about children’s rights. I have also written short stories which have been featured on Brittle Paper and Writers Space Africa. In August 2019 I was shortlisted for the African Writer of the Year for Children’s Literature Award.
In previous lives I worked as an English teacher and a content writer. I have six years of experience as a writer. I have worked as a content writer with Daily Posts UK and have built an extensive skill set in creative and technical writing. I am highly skilled in conducting detailed research with the ability to critically analyse data for writing for different types of target audiences. As a communication graduate, I understand the nuances of both written and non-written communication, and I am able to speak, read and write French.
